The momentum-shell renormalization group splits a field into slow modes below $\Lambda/\zeta$ and fast modes in $\Lambda/\zeta<|k|<\Lambda$, integrates out the fast modes, then rescales momenta and fields to restore the cutoff and kinetic normalization.
