N-linked glycosylation
= N-linked glycosylation
{c}
<N-linked glycosylation> attaches a glycan through a nitrogen atom, commonly the side-chain amide nitrogen of asparagine. In the ER pathway, an assembled lipid-linked oligosaccharide is transferred to an appropriate <protein> acceptor.
