The first-order string action is
$$
I=\int dt\,d\sigma\left[\dot X\cdot P-\frac e2(P^2+T^2X'^2)-uX'\cdot P\right].
$$
The multipliers impose the two <Virasoro constraints>. The canonical equations give a spatial momentum flux $J_m=eT^2X'_m+uP_m$.
