= Negative root

After choosing <positive roots> in a <root system>, a negative root is the negative of a <positive root>. Equivalently, for a regular linear functional defining the positive roots, its value on a negative root is negative. Relative to the associated <simple roots>, the coefficients of a negative root are all nonpositive integers.
