= 5.12 Beta Function

Equation 5.12.1 gives Euler's integral for the <beta function> and its expression as a ratio of <gamma functions>, with positive real parts of the two parameters. The integral identity supplies normalization and shifted-parameter <moments> for the <beta distribution>.
