{title2=$P=\tfrac{g_0}{2}\sum_{ij}T_{ij}(V_i-V_j)^2\ge0$}
For a balanced nonnegative transmission matrix and $I_i=g_0(N_iV_i-\sum_jT_{ij}V_j)$, electrical power obeys
$$
\sum_iI_iV_i=\frac{g_0}{2}\sum_{ij}T_{ij}(V_i-V_j)^2\ge0,
$$
with diagonal reflection included consistently or removed from both sides. A negative four-terminal voltage-to-current ratio is compatible with this positive total power because the measured <voltage> pair is not the current source's pair.
