Measure the <pressure> difference across a solvent-permeable barrier that retains the solute, at known <temperature>. For dilute <polymers>, the zero-concentration intercept of reduced <pressure> determines the <number-average molar mass>. Leakage, aggregation and ionic contributions can change the inferred molecular population.
