= p-adic tensor decomposition of a number field
{title2=$K\otimes_{\mathbb Q}\mathbb Q_p$}

For a <number field> $K$ and a rational prime $p$, the natural diagonal map gives an isomorphism of $\mathbb Q_p$-algebras
$$
K\otimes_{\mathbb Q}\mathbb Q_p\cong\prod_{\mathfrak p\mid p}K_{\mathfrak p}.
$$
