For $\operatorname{Re}p>a$, differentiation under the integral is justified by the <dominated convergence theorem>: on a smaller closed half-plane $\operatorname{Re}p\ge a+\delta$, the additional factor $t$ is controlled by $te^{-\delta t}$. Hence
$$
Y'(p)=\int_0^\infty -ty(t)e^{-pt}\,dt,
\qquad\boxed{\mathcal L[ty](p)=-Y'(p).}
$$
This is the multiplication rule for the <Laplace transform>.
