= Solution

For scalars $a,b$ and $f,h\in X$, linearity of the <Fourier coefficients> gives
$$
\widehat{aTf+bTh}(n)=\alpha_n\bigl(a\widehat f(n)+b\widehat h(n)\bigr)
=\alpha_n\widehat{af+bh}(n).
$$
The assumed uniqueness of the function with these coefficients implies $T(af+bh)=aTf+bTh$. Thus \b[$T$ is linear].
