\b[(iii) implies (ii):] the preliminary bounds show $\sup_k\|P_kx\|<\infty$ for every $x$. Applying the <Uniform boundedness principle> to the bounded maps $P_k$ gives $\sup_k\|P_k\|<\infty$.

\b[(iii) implies (iv):] the normalization $\|x_n\|=1$ gives
$$
|\varphi_n(x)|=\|(P_n-P_{n-1})x\|\leq(\|P_n\|+\|P_{n-1}\|)\|x\|.
$$
Hence every coordinate functional is bounded.
