The <Lorentz factor> is $\gamma=(1-0.8^2)^{-1/2}=5/3$. <Length contraction> makes the moving javelin's length in the shed frame
$$
\boxed{L=2/\gamma=1.2\,\mathrm m.}
$$
This measures its two endpoints at the same shed-frame time.
