Where both derivatives exist, the ordinary product rule gives
$$
\frac{(\gamma_1\gamma_2)'}{\gamma_1\gamma_2}=\frac{\gamma_1'}{\gamma_1}+\frac{\gamma_2'}{\gamma_2}.
$$
Neither denominator vanishes. Integrate over a common piecewise-smooth subdivision and use the contour characterization of the <winding number>:
$$
\boxed{n(\gamma_1\gamma_2,0)=n(\gamma_1,0)+n(\gamma_2,0).}
$$
