= Solution

The cyclotomic <Galois group> theorem states
$$
\boxed{\operatorname{Gal}(\mathbb Q(\mu_n)/\mathbb Q)\cong(\mathbb Z/n\mathbb Z)^\times,\qquad \sigma_b(\zeta_n)=\zeta_n^b,}
$$
for $b$ coprime to $n$, with $[\mathbb Q(\mu_n):\mathbb Q]=\varphi(n)$, where $\varphi$ is the <Euler totient function>.
