= Solution

The <torque> about an origin is $\boldsymbol\tau=\mathbf r\times\mathbf F$. A <cross product> multiplies the dimensions of its factors, so <torque> has the <physical dimension> of length times <force>:
$$
\boxed{[\tau]=L[F]=ML^2T^{-2}}.
$$
