Here <Fourier inversion> means the absolute-integral version: $\widehat f\in L^1(\mathbb R^d)$ and
$$
\boxed{f(x)=(2\pi)^{-d}\int_{\mathbb R^d}e^{i\xi\cdot x}\widehat f(\xi)\,d\xi\quad\text{for almost every }x.}
$$
This convention is necessary for the bounded <continuous> version in part (d). Conditional inversion by symmetric truncation is a different statement and need not have that conclusion.
