For a <differentiable> wave <function>,
$$
[\widehat x,\widehat p]\psi
=-i\hbar x\psi'+i\hbar(x\psi)'
=i\hbar\psi.
$$
Thus $[\widehat x,\widehat p]=i\hbar I$. Substitution into part (a) yields
$$
\boxed{\Delta_\psi x\,\Delta_\psi p\geq\frac\hbar2}.
$$
