The $(i,j)$ entry of $B^{\mathsf T}B$ is $\mathbf e_i\cdot\mathbf e_j=\delta_{ij}$. Hence $B$ is an <orthogonal matrix>, whose <matrix inverse> equals its <transpose>:
$$
\boxed{B^{-1}=B^{\mathsf T}=\begin{pmatrix}
1/\sqrt2&0&1/\sqrt2\\
1/\sqrt2&0&-1/\sqrt2\\
0&1&0
\end{pmatrix}}.
$$
This obtains the inverse without unnecessary cofactor calculations.
