= Solution

The <vectors> $(1,1)$ and $(1,-1)$ are <eigenvectors>, with respective <eigenvalues> $\cosh\phi+\sinh\phi$ and $\cosh\phi-\sinh\phi$. The exponential definitions reduce these to
$$
\boxed{\lambda_+=e^\phi,\qquad\lambda_-=e^{-\phi}}.
$$
At $\phi=0$ they coincide and the <matrix> is the identity.
