The <product rule> gives $y'=e^x(\cos x-\sin x)$. The <exponential function> never vanishes, so a <stationary point> requires $\tan x=1$. In the given interval this means $x=\pi/4$. Substitution gives
$$
\boxed{(x,y)=\left(\frac\pi4,\frac{e^{\pi/4}}{\sqrt2}\right).}
$$
The <derivative> changes from positive to negative there, making it a strict <local maximum>.
