= Solution

Since $\mathbf v=-\mathbf u$ and $\mathbf u\ne\mathbf0$, the <vectors> point in opposite directions. More explicitly, their <dot product> gives
$$
\cos\theta=\frac{\mathbf u\cdot\mathbf v}{\|\mathbf u\|\|\mathbf v\|}=-1.
$$
Hence their <angle> is $\boxed{\theta=\pi\text{ radians}=180^\circ}$.
