Use the <Fourier transform> convention $\widetilde h(k)=\int_{\mathbb R}e^{-ikx}h(x)\,dx$. Split at zero and integrate the decaying exponentials:
$$
\widetilde h(k)=\frac1{L^{-1}-ik}+\frac1{L^{-1}+ik}
=\boxed{\frac{2L}{1+L^2k^2}.}
$$
The transform is real and even because $h(x)=e^{-|x|/L}$ is real and even.
