= Solution

The laboratory <mean lifetime> is dilated to $\gamma\tau_0=44.7\,\mathrm{ns}$. Multiplying by the laboratory <speed> gives
$$
\boxed{\langle\ell\rangle=v\gamma\tau_0\simeq10.9\,\mathrm m.}
$$
This is the mean of the exponential decay-distance distribution, not a fixed distance travelled by every <pion>.
