= Solution

The <function> is <injective>, also called one-to-one, when equal outputs force equal inputs:
$$
\boxed{\forall a,a'\in A,\quad f(a)=f(a')\Longrightarrow a=a'.}
$$
Equivalently, different elements of the <domain of a function> always have different images.
