Integrating the <probability density function> from the lower endpoint gives the <cumulative distribution function>
$$
\boxed{F_X(x)=\begin{cases}
0,&x\leq1,\\
1-x^{-c},&x>1.
\end{cases}}
$$
The <cumulative distribution function> is continuous at $x=1$ and tends to one at infinity.
