Solving the <linear ordinary differential equation> and imposing the <initial condition> gives

$$
As $\lambda>0$, the requested <limit> is
$$
\boxed{\lim_{\lambda\to\infty}y(1)=\lim_{\lambda\to\infty}2e^{-\lambda}=0.}
$$
