= Solution

The <relative complement> consists of the elements of the first set absent from the second, while the <symmetric difference> consists of elements in exactly one set:
$$
\boxed{A\setminus B=\{x:x\in A,\ x\notin B\},\qquad A\oplus B=(A\setminus B)\cup(B\setminus A).}
$$
The two parts of the symmetric difference are <disjoint sets>.
