= Past null infinity

<Past null infinity> is the ideal boundary from which incoming <null geodesics> arrive in an <asymptotically flat spacetime>. In the <Minkowski conformal compactification> it is $T-R=-\pi$, with the retarded coordinate tending to $-\infty$ and the advanced coordinate finite.
