An effect of one <gene> or <genetic variant> on multiple distinguishable <phenotypic traits>. It can constrain evolution when effects oppose simultaneous improvement, or facilitate coordinated improvement when their directions align with <natural selection>. Distinguish a single causal change from several linked changes.
