Polar molecule
= Polar molecule
A <polar molecule> has a nonzero permanent <electric dipole moment> because of its internal <electric charge> distribution. It can still have zero total <electric charge>. <Water> is polar; a <nonpolar molecule> has no permanent <electric dipole moment>.
