A fundamental cell of a <Bravais lattice>, of volume equal to the absolute <determinant> of any primitive lattice basis. Direct and <reciprocal lattice> primitive cell volumes multiply to $(2\pi)^d$ in dimension $d$ with the angular-wavenumber convention.
