= Quark-flow diagram
A schematic tracking of valence <quark> and <antiquark> flavor through a hadronic process. It can explain flavor conservation and required pair creation without computing the nonperturbative <hadronization> amplitude. A complete elementary perturbative diagram contains additional interaction and color information.
