Recombination line
= Recombination line
A recombination line is a <spectral line> produced after a free <Electron> is captured, often through a subsequent <radiative cascade> among bound levels. Its emissivity is computed with an <effective recombination coefficient>, distinct from the free-bound recombination continuum.
