A rectangular parallelepiped is a <parallelepiped> whose three edge directions at each vertex are mutually perpendicular. Its faces are <rectangles>; if its edge lengths are $a,b,c$, its <volume> is $abc$. A <cube> is the special case $a=b=c$.
