If $f$ is <holomorphic function>[holomorphic] on and inside a positively oriented closed contour except for finitely many isolated singularities $a_j$ inside it, then

\oint f(z)\,dz=2\pi i\sum_j\operatorname{Res}(f,a_j).
$$
