An experimental <condensed matter physicist> who coauthored the discovery experiments on low-temperature phases of <helium-3>. Measurements in a Pomeranchuk cell revealed changes in the nuclear magnetic resonance signal at millikelvin temperatures, linking unusual pressure behavior to changes in the liquid's magnetic response.
