Rotational entropy
= Rotational entropy
{title2=$S_{\rm rot,m}=R[\ln q_{\rm rot}+T\partial_T\ln q_{\rm rot}]$}
The <entropy> contribution from populated molecular rotational states. A nonlinear <rigid rotor> has $q_{\rm rot}\propto T^{3/2}$ at high <temperature>, giving $S_{\rm rot,m}=R(\ln q_{\rm rot}+3/2)$. Its <rotational symmetry number> removes redundant orientations.
