For particles with pair potential $U$, the second virial coefficient is
$$
B_2=\frac12\int \left[1-e^{-U(\mathbf r)/(k_BT)}\right]d\mathbf r,
$$
with the integration measure adapted to the available relative configurations. Repulsion contributes positively and attraction negatively.
