= Seventh cyclotomic field

For a primitive seventh root of unity $\zeta_7$,
$$
\operatorname{Gal}(\mathbb Q(\zeta_7)/\mathbb Q)
\cong(\mathbb Z/7\mathbb Z)^\times\cong C_6,
$$
where $\sigma_a(\zeta_7)=\zeta_7^a$. Its four intermediate fields correspond to the four subgroups of the cyclic group $C_6$.
