= Silver bromide
{title2=$\mathrm{AgBr}$}
{wiki}
<Silver bromide> is $\mathrm{AgBr}$, a photosensitive <silver halide> used in photographic emulsions. The behaviour depends on the crystal grain and its defects as well as on the chemical formula.
Exposure creates a latent image that can be amplified during chemical development. Unexposed <silver bromide> can then be removed through complex formation with thiosulfate, illustrating how photochemistry and <coordination chemistry> cooperate in one imaging process.
