= Slender-body force density

At leading logarithmic order, a straight slender rod with unit tangent $\mathbf t$ and local velocity $\mathbf v$ exerts force per unit length
$$
\mathbf f=C\left(I-\frac12\mathbf t\mathbf t\right)\mathbf v,
$$
where $C$ depends logarithmically on the rod aspect ratio.
