The squared Hellinger distance is
$$
H^2(P,Q)=\int(\sqrt p-\sqrt q)^2d\lambda
=2-2\int\sqrt{pq}\,d\lambda,
$$
where $p$ and $q$ are densities with respect to any common dominating measure $\lambda$.
