= Stabilizer subspace

The stabilizer subspace of a commuting family $S$ of Hermitian Pauli operators is
$$
V_S=\{|\psi\rangle:S|\psi\rangle=|\psi\rangle\text{ for every }S\in\mathcal S\}.
$$
If there are $r$ independent generators on $n$ qubits, its dimension is $2^{n-r}$.
