Starobinsky inflation is an inflationary model whose Einstein-frame scalar potential can be written
$$
V(\phi)=V_0\left(1-e^{-\sqrt{2/3}\,\phi/M_{\rm Pl}}\right)^2.
$$
The exponentially flat large-field plateau supports <slow-roll inflation>, while the potential is quadratic near its minimum.
