A larger-scale horizontal cellular flow pattern on the <Sun>'s surface. Transport by these flows helps arrange small magnetic elements into a <solar magnetic network> at cell boundaries. The observed pattern does not establish a unique thermal driving depth or an exact hierarchy of isolated steady eddies.
