A pair of <metal> centres connected through one or more <thiolate> <sulfur> donors. A $\mathrm{M_2(\mu-SR)_2}$ diamond can coexist with a direct <metal>–<metal> bond; each bridging <thiolate> supplies a donor interaction at both <metals>.
