{title2=$\tau=T\,dS/dT$}
The <Thomson effect> is distributed reversible heating or cooling when an <electric current> flows through a homogeneous material with a <temperature gradient>. It is distinct from junction <Peltier effect> heating and even-in-current <Joule heating>.
