= Thrust acceleration

The instantaneous <acceleration> contribution from <rocket thrust> $T$ acting on remaining rocket <mass> $M$ is $a_T=T/M$. Gravity and other external <forces> contribute separately. A constant <rocket thrust> therefore produces an increasing <thrust acceleration> as <rocket propellant> is consumed.
