= Tributyl phosphate

A neutral oxygen-donor extractant, $\mathrm{OP(OBu)_3}$, often abbreviated TBP. It can solvate metal nitrate species in <solvent extraction>. Selectivity depends on acidity, metal <oxidation state>, diluent and subsequent stripping conditions.
