= Wave reciprocity
In a reciprocal medium, appropriately normalized source and receiver responses can be exchanged: the scalar <Green function> satisfies $G(\mathbf r,\mathbf r')=G(\mathbf r',\mathbf r)$. Reciprocity alone does not imply absence of <wave absorption>.
